Ladies Soup and Salad Supper - Monday, January 30th, at 6:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Our theme for the evening will be "A Time to Sew". Following supper we will be making 26 fleece blankets for the Cornerstone Women's Shelter so we need all the help we can get! If your daughters are able to tie knots bring them along and together let's "sew" some seeds of kindness for this very worthy ministry.

Ways you can help:   

* Bring scissors or rotary cutters to the Soup and Salad Supper. Your age-appropriate daughters are encouraged to come, but please note that childcare is not provided.

* "Sponsor" a blanket(s) by donating $9.00 each to cover the cost of the material.

* Donate needed items for the Women's Shelter. There is a wish list on the sign-up sheet by the office. Items may be brought to the Soup and Salad Supper.  

 

"Undivided Heart" Refresher at Edgemont Baptist Church - Saturday, February 11th, at 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The ladies of Edgemont Baptist Church would like to extend a cordial invitation to the women of Calvary Baptist to attend their one day retreat (9:00 a.m. - 2:00) filled with fun, fellowship, and food. There is no cost for this event. Amy Engwall will be the guest speaker. For more information, please pick up a brochure in the church office.  

 

Women's Winter Retreat - February 17 & 18 at Calvary!

The rural ladies of Faith would like to invite all the women of Calvary to attend their 2012 Women's Winter Retreat held at our church on February 17 & 18. The theme of this year's retreat is "Directionally Challenged?" There is a Girl's Retreat held at the same time for girls age 8 and up.  The cost is $25 before February 6th and $35 after the 6th. Childcare is available. If you'd like more information, please pick up a brochure in the church office.  

Church Kitchen Shower - March 19th at 6:30pm in the church fellowship hall.  There is “A Time to Keep, A Time to Throw Away”, our kitchen is in need of some new items.  That night we will have cooking demonstrations of recipes with 5 ingredients or less, wrapping tips, and the Church Cookbook will go on sale.  

Beth Moore Simulcast has been scheduled!  Mark your calendars for this great event, September 15, 2012.  More details to come.

Alpine Inn Luncheon is October 6th, at 10:00 we will meet at the church for those wanting to carpool, then head to Hill City for lunch and shopping.  More details to come.

Calvary Ladies Fall Retreat is scheduled for November 2nd - 3rd at Camp Judson.  This is a great time of sweet fellowship and growing.  More details to come.

Our Annual Christmas Exchange will be Monday, December 3rd at 6:30.  This year we would like to open up the gift category to anything Christmas related, with a $10 cap.  Great Food, Fellowship, Devotion and Gifts.  More details to come.
