Announcements for July 11, 2010

 

There will not be Children's Church for the Summer. We are using the summer to regroup our children's programs, if you are interested in helping with Nursery, Toddlers, Children's Church or any other area, please contact Jenn Wildeman, 209-8526.

 

Hill's Alive 2010, July 16th - 18th at Memorial Park. Starting 6:00 pm on Friday Night and 1:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Line-up: Newsboys, Jars of Clay, Phillips, Craig, & Dean, NeedToBreath, BarlowGirl, Addison Road, Sanctus Real, Darrell Mansfield Band, Petra and more. There will be no evening service July 18th.

 

Hill's Alive, The Day of Hope will be July 17th from 9am - 1pm at Memorial Park. Please Pray for The Day of Hope Outreach.

 

Family Fishing Day! July 24th, Canyon Lake Park from 9am - 1pm. Potluck Lunch

 

Another Opportunity to Serve: Clothe-A-Kid School Supplies Drive needs Volunteers to solicit school supplies at retail stores. There are several slots available, shifts would be for 2 hours. Sign-up sheet located outside the church office.

 

Leadership Team will meet July 25th at 3:00 pm in School Library.

Church Business Meeting will be July 25th at 5:00 pm.

 

Movie Night at the Church, July 25th at 6:00 pm. Join us for a time of fellowship with Movie and Popcorn.

 

Dakota Days will be August 13th and 14th during the Sturgis Bike Rally. What a time to witness to others, Spreading God's Word.

On August 1st we will be having a Wedding Shower to celebrate the upcoming marriage of Ethan Lindsay and Sarah Wisecarver, they are registered at Kohl's and Target. Calvary Christian School is currently enrolling students for fall 2010. If you are interested in a QUALITY Christian Education for your child contact Pastor Mike Causey or the school office 348-5175.

The Youth will be leading VBS in Hot Springs, Aug 2nd through 6th. They are in need of 10 dozen cookies for the Block Party on Aug 2nd. If you are able to provide some cookies please bring them to the church or contact Tonya Pierson, 923-6695.

 

Wednesday Night Programs

Ladies Bible Study, continuing the study of "Daniel" by Beth Moore on Wednesday Nights at 6:00.

 

Men's Bible Study, continuing "The Man God Uses" by Henry Blackaby on Wednesday Nights at 6:00

 

Summer Children's Program on Wednesday Nights at 6:00. Mission Friends for ages 4 & 5 and Children in Action for grades 1st - 6th.
